A Better Tournament Experience
community-driven tournaments
Your Next Rugby Adventure
Our goal is to crown not only the best rugby team, but the team that best represents the values of rugby. Every match rewards respect, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship as much as skill and results. Championships should be won through outstanding rugby played in the right spirit.
The DMV Rugby Series is unique in that it brings together four tournaments into a single competition, allowing teams to compete for the coveted Series Championship. Rather than being decided by one weekend of rugby, the overall champion is determined through consistent performances across all four events.

An Adapted Scoring System
WHY -
WHAT -
Fair Play points will be implemented in the Series Championship, ensuring that character and conduct matter just as much as results.
Points differential cap: We also believe every match should remain competitive and enjoyable. Our tournament format and scoring system are designed to discourage lop-sided blowouts, encouraging teams to continue playing positive, intelligent rugby while respecting their opponents from the first whistle to the last. The result is a better experience for players, coaches, referees, parents, and spectators
An Innovative Format
- Where possible will always have an Elite and a 2nd Tier pool
- Points differential cap: Pool standings only count the first +20 points of winning margin. Or limit number of tries that count
- Fair play points: based on something tangible IE: least number of penalties conceded. Yellow cards. Need to develop this
- Bonus point for loss 7 point or less (how about no bonus points for number of tries scored?) If there needs to be separating criteria - (a) head-to-head, (b) most fair-play bonus points (c) points diffs
- 4 points for win, 2 for draw, 0 for loss
